Alzheimer’s is the leading killer of women, three times more deaths than breast cancer, and the third biggest killer for men so it is important to work on prevention especially if you have a family history.
Are you worried about ‘brain fog’, your thinking is fuzzy, having memory lapses, you can’t find a particular word, remember someone’s name or focus well? Or have you noticed these little changes in conversation with a loved one?
Maybe you, or they, go into a room and can’t remember why? Do you read a page in a book or magazine and have to read it again as you didn’t take anything in.
This is an important screening to check for nutritional factors that could be affecting your memory now and your brain health and risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s for the future.
It will look at your levels of toxic metals like aluminium and mercury, homocysteine, which can affect your brain health, diabetes risk and also making sure you are not deficient in any of the important vitamins, minerals and essential fats like omega 3.
Included with this test is a 60 minute consultation with one of our highly trained and experienced nutritionists who will go through the results with you to ensure you understand what they all mean and recommend any changes in your diet and lifestyle indicated necessary by the results to help to rectify any deficiencies found and help you achieve and maintain optimum health.

On confirmation of the order, our clinic team will send you a test referral form which is to be taken to our recommended laboratory where the blood can be drawn so they can carry out the nutritional test. If you are unable to attend our recommended laboratory, we will work with you to have the blood drawn at a more suitable location. Our clinic team will arrange your consultation for when the results will arrive back at the clinic.
